Caitlin is leading the project as part of her PhD research. She has a background in Psychology and experience within Public Health research focusing on maternal and child health. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caitlin is passionate about autistm-led research and ensuring autistic people’s lived experiences are at the centre of autism research. She is an active research member of the Maternity and Autism Research Group (Our Team|Maternity Autism Research Group<\/a>) and volunteers as an early career researcher representative for Newcastle University’s Qualitative Research Special Interest Group (Qualitative SIG | Innovation, Methodology and Application | Newcastle University<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr Ryc Aquino<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n

Ryc is a lecturer in Child Health at Newcastle University, and is the primary supervisor on the project. She has a background in Health Psychology, and is passionate about improving maternal and child health outcomes for under-served populations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Professor Judith Rankin OBE<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Judith is a professor of Maternal and Child Health at Newcastle University, and is also helping to supervise the project. Her research interests span accross areas of maternal health of vulnerable populations, risk factors in pregnancy, outcomes for children with complex needs\u00a0and reproductive loss. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr Fiona-Gullon Scott<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n

Fiona is a senior lecturer in Clinical Psychology at Newcastle University, and is third supervisor of this project. She has over 30 years of autism expertise, and her interests include adult autism prevalence and diagnosis, female presentation, mental health in autism and, more recently, ADHD. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
