Make Pretty<\/strong><\/p>\nI blush with brickwork, speak cement<\/p>\n
that\u2019s clotted when it\u2019s first poured out<\/p>\n
then smoothed without my mind\u2019s consent,<\/p>\n
barbed wire bends my bleeding mouth<\/p>\n
into a smile. Red roses push,<\/p>\n
black diamonds sparkle on my skin<\/p>\n
until I spread this liquid flesh<\/p>\n
and all my weep holes are filled in.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I think about this Wendy House<\/p>\n
I used to have when I was three,<\/p>\n
it kept the shadow monsters out<\/p>\n
I never thought it looked like me.<\/p>\n
