It opens on Friday evening with the true royalty of crime writing, Val McDermid. Do not miss this unique opportunity!<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>Mary Mulholland<\/strong><\/span>&#8216;s poem\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.inksweatandtears.co.uk\/?fbclid=IwAR3IRPfX-4EJOUm_t6gra9G96SKHYGaj1DljwgQT9fr9-N76n9qrBe7tau4\"><em>Bluebeard&#8217;s Cousin<\/em><\/a> was published in the latest <em>Ink, Sweat <\/em>and<em> Tears<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>Niamh O&#8217;Connell<\/strong> <\/span>read her poetry at New Art Social in <em>Ernest bar<\/em>, Ouseburn Valley.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>Vanessa Lampert<\/strong><\/span>, MA Writing Poetry (London) has been commended for her poem &#8216;<em>What The Horses Told Us<\/em>&#8216; in the <a href=\"https:\/\/munsterlit.ie\/Gregory%20ODonoghue%20International%20Poetry%20Competition.html\"><em>Gregory O&#8217;Donoghue International Poetry Prize 2019<\/em><\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Open Mic Evening of Poetry<\/strong>, hosted by Pantisocracy Poetry, is going to take place on Wednesday, 20 February, from 20:00 at <a href=\"https:\/\/m.facebook.com\/drinkartbar\/?locale2=en_GB\">Drink Art Bar<\/a>, 17 Windsor Terrace, Newcastle upon Tyne.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/audleyfhs.co.uk\/\"><em>Aldgedeslegh<\/em>,<\/a> a poetry book by <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Roger Bloor<\/span>,<\/strong> is out now. It is published by a small, independent press\u00a0<em>Audley and District Family History Society.\u00a0<\/em>It can be purchased from the publisher or Amazon but Roger is offering a\u00a0special\u00a0discount price for his colleagues at mere \u00a34.00 plus p&amp;p if you order from him directly.
