The 20 shortlisted poems will be published in an anthology-style pamphlet in April.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>Anne Gill<\/strong><\/span>&#8216;s pamphlet <em>Raft<\/em> is out in April.\u00a0 It is published by<a href=\"https:\/\/badbettypress.com\/?fbclid=IwAR1f5GBMgdE3voq8G41Gfb4EHOyFguuHLNWN4A9Gn5yrSvJKEoOCPyBCd9Y\"><strong> Bad Betty Press<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Chloe Daykin<\/span><\/strong> is one of the most successful alumni from the Newcastle University postgraduate creative writing programmes. Her debut <em>Fish Boy\u00a0<\/em>is now out in Italy, courtesy of <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/jIbIu2EzMG\"><strong>Giunti Editore<\/strong><\/a>, and it went straight into number 6 in charts there! Her second book <em>The Boy who Hit Play<\/em>\u00a0came out last year, also published by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.faber.co.uk\/\">Faber &amp; Faber<\/a>, and her third,\u00a0<em>Fire Girl Forest\u00a0Boy,<\/em>\u00a0is out this July. Chloe&#8217;s first two books have been hugely successful in the UK, the first one was shortlisted for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.branfordboaseaward.org.uk\/\">Branford Boase children&#8217;s debut of the year<\/a>, and both later shortlisted for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carnegiegreenaway.org.uk\/carnegie.php\">Carnegie Medal<\/a>. I can recommend them to those who are interested in writing for children, or simply interested in reading good, enjoyable stories. You will have a unique opportunity to experience Chloe as a tutor on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncl.ac.uk\/ncla\/courses\/item\/cschloedaykin.html\">18 May at the NCLA Creative Saturday Course.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Newcastle Centre for Literary Arts <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">have announced that, due to unforeseen circumstances, the\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncl.ac.uk\/ncla\/events\/item\/eventnpflondonlaunch.html\">Newcastle Poetry Festival programme on 13 March<\/a>\u00a0in The Courtauld, Vernon Square, London\u00a0has been<span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong> postponed<\/strong><\/span>. More information to follow.
