Originally, I\u2019m from Manchester and to save the all-important question, I\u2019m a Manchester City fan.<\/p>\n<p>I take a big interest in computing so choosing my course was a \u2018no brainer\u2019. I take this interest because it\u2019s no secret that technology is the future and I find it fascinating how rapid the industry is innovating and growing. Hopefully coming out of my degree I want to get into a job which involves cyber security as since I was young I always wanted to go into the army so going into a type of security with something that I love seems the best way forward.<\/p>\n<p>I chose Newcastle because a lot of my friends were coming up North to Uni but not necessarily Newcastle. This allowed me to make new friends while also not being too far away from my old friends. Another attractive thing about Newcastle is the notorious nightlife that never fails to be an amazing night. Possibly the most surprising thing about being here is the weather. I\u2019d heard that it\u2019s cold up here but I wasn\u2019t expecting it to be this cold.
