Newcastle University is in the heart of Newcastle-upon-Tyne and easily reachable by train and plane.

Within Newcastle: The Herschel Building is right next to the Haymarket Metro station (green or yellow line). From Newcastle Central station it’s just 2 stops with the metro or alternatively, about 17min walk. From the airport, it’s about 20min with the Metro.

Travel expenses: Thanks to the UK cosmo grant, for UK participants up to £100 of overnight expenses can be covered as well as modest travel costs.
