And what is your greatest hope?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please read the guide below on capturing your footage and send your completed videos to <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"mailto:info@culturalfreelancers.org\" target=\"_blank\"><a href=\"mailto:alwaysalexayre@gmail.com\">alwaysalexayre@gmail.com<\/a><\/a> using <a href=\"http:\/\/wetransfer.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">wetransfer.com<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>GUIDE TO CAPTURING YOUR FOOTAGE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>BASICS FOR FILMING ON A SMARTPHONE OR TABLET<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How it should look:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Please film all content in LANDSCAPE, meaning the phone is turned on its side. This is super-important, so we don\u2019t end up with inconsistency in image sizes throughout the film. For example, you might want to film your subject and use a main window to cast daylight onto their face\u2026BUT be careful not to silhouette them in a dark space with a window overexposed behind them.<\/li><li>Be sure to give at least a couple of seconds after pressing record, before any action takes place, and the same again at the end. This allows enough time to cut into the footage in the edit (the equivalent of allowing time to call \u201caction\u201d on a film set).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How it should sound:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Please film all interviews in a quiet space, where there is minimal background noise such as traffic, or chatter. Make sure any background televisions or sound systems are switched off.
