Reflective Journal – Week 12

Description

As the submission was approaching, our team organized a final content integration and review meeting. All members reviewed the report word by word. This ensured clear logic and accurate language. I was mainly responsible for reviewing the logical structure of the report and writing the conclusions, and unified the format of the charts, references and other details. This enhanced the professionalism and consistency of the report.

Feelings

The entire integration process made me feel a strong atmosphere of teamwork. This also made me proud of the high degree of teamwork achieved. At the same time, in the face of differences of opinion (such as the display position of financial forecasts), I felt that I needed to better balance subjective preferences with overall logic.

Evaluation

The positive aspect is that we communicated frequently and provided continuous feedback. This ensured the smoothness and unity of the report structure and language (Erickson, 2021). This also demonstrated a strong sense of team cohesion and responsibility. The challenge was that we had differences in the order of content at the beginning. For example, whether the financial forecast should be placed in the front text. This delayed some of the consolidation progress.

Analysis

This challenge reflects that our judgment on the relationship between “display logic and persuasiveness” needs to be improved. Zacharakis et al. (2020) emphasise that the core of a business plan is a logically rigorous argument. It must be based on “evidence-supported creativity”. Our disagreement is essentially how to guide readers to understand the key content more effectively. Therefore, the integration process is not only a summary of the content, but also a construction of logical order and narrative rhythm.

Conclusion

I deeply understand that the independent stage is important. However, the professionalism and consistency of the final results depend more on the collaborative efficiency and consensus-building ability of the team integration stage. It is more of a collective logic construction process. In the future, in actual work, whether it is strategic plan reporting or client report writing, this collaborative ability of “unified logic – shared language – content rhythm coordination” will become a key advantage in my team management and organisational communication.

Action Plan

I will continue to improve my coordination and communication skills in the team integration link. In the future, in actual projects, I will also pay more attention to establishing a shared language, unified data logic and presentation rhythm in the early stage. At the same time, I plan to apply the methods learned in this module (such as entrepreneurial financial forecasting and cross-functional cooperation) to actual business projects. This can further improve practical ability and implementation efficiency.
