An international collaboration award from the Royal Society supported our collaboration with Dr Xue Hao from the China Geological Survey, Wuhan, on multilevel groundwater sampling. We tested an innovative sampler at Newcastle University’s borehole array at Cockle Park farm to investigate nitrate and faecal pollution of a sandstone aquifer.<\/p>\n
