The Azure Virtual Desktop Service (AVD) gives secure access to University software, your files and protected websites. It’s the best way to access software during teaching sessions and private study. You can connect from anywhere, using most devices, including your PC, laptop, tablet or Chromebook. You’ll need a browser and an internet connection.

Microsoft 365 is designed to help you create, share, and collaborate with ease and efficiency. This site has been created to help you get the most out of Microsoft 365 apps with training resources in a variety of formats to help you improve your skills and learn new features.
We provide a group management technology to enable the management of access to University resources. Groups can be used in conjunction with the Login Gateway to control access to web resources. They can also be used to protect Active Directory protected resources for example shared filestore solutions.

The UK GDPR, in conjunction with the Data Protection Act 2018, sets out the principles that organisations must follow when dealing with information about living identifiable individuals, as well as the rights those individuals have.

This course will provide you with several tools and suggestions to implement so you can ensure that your remote meetings are successful.

NUVision Media Library is open to all staff at the university. The service converts uploaded videos and provides you with an easy method of embedding the content in services such as Canvas (VLE), Blogs etc. Any member of staff can use the video streaming service to deliver media for which they hold the copyright (or have the permission of the copyright holder to use).
