NUVision Media Library is open to all staff at the university. The service converts uploaded videos and provides you with an easy method of embedding the content in services such as Canvas (VLE), Blogs etc. Any member of staff can use the video streaming service to deliver media for which they hold the copyright (or have the permission of the copyright holder to use).
This short course explains different image file formats and what you would use them for, and teaches you how to create and edit simple images and diagrams using familiar Microsoft apps. Finally, the course runs through copyright considerations.
Vevox is Newcastle University’s centrally-supported Audience Interaction System, and allows colleagues to conduct live polls, quizzes and surveys with students – in advance or live in a lecture or seminar. From gauging opinion to providing participants with question & answer opportunities, Vevox can be used on different devices with the only requirement to participate being a device connected to the internet.
