Learning involves the acquisition of new or reinforcement of existing knowledge. The privilege of learning is possessed by humans, the fauna and the flora. Even by certain machines. Learning is present at every stage of human life and is essential for our survival. Nevertheless, its impact is evident in all aspects of our lives.

Learning has been the most important part of my life. Firstly, my personality has been largely shaped by different stages of learning. From a very young age, family taught me how to live with other people, take care of myself and how learning improves my life by making choices. In school years, I acquired an argument-based and logical thinking. This led to further appreciation of the means of learning, other than simple mimicry. Setting my personal goals was another step forward as a result of the opening of horizons by new knowledge.
Later, I could see my quality of life improving day to day. The informed choices I made have offered both professional success and satisfaction. I have stayed away from addictions, knowing their consequences. I have even explored various options in education to achieve my already set goals. As a result of all these, I have an equally motivated social circle to rely on and appreciate.

The need of learning has been transformed into a need of teaching. Recently, I realised I have reached the point where I want to contribute to the support of future generations. I am grateful to have already obtained some teaching experience, which I wish to upgrade in every possible way. Further learning will help me achieve it, hence I keep seeking for more opportunities. Through the research environment, I have been exposed to scientific writing. Its aspect of public speaking and producing new knowledge has the greatest value.
Most importantly, in societies with advanced learning level, people age later in life and in better conditions. They receive help from the society (for example in the form of pension schemes, hospitals and care homes) that in turn exist due to the advanced education level. Hopefully, this will remain the case.
My learning has impacted on my past, influences my present and will guide my future. In the past, I have been greatly inspired by knowledgeable and highly qualified people. I have nothing but pleasant memories of my school and university years, loyal friends and a very supportive family in every single stage. Currently as a Doctoral student, I am highly motivated to learn in a more independent way and achieve specific significant goals. I dream realistically and with optimism. Having seen myself succeeding since my earliest efforts, I am confident and never give up. My greatest ambition is to become a supportive parent and influence individuals in the same way I have been inspired by people that are real heroes.
Learning equals to evolution. It is definitely the only thing no one can take away from us. Precious as gold, necessary as water, welcome as a smile.
