I am writing a report about how the Library supports Endnote and what we do. I can give it my perception of how it all works, but it would be good to have some feedback from you, so if you have time to add comments to the blog, or email your thoughts to me (moira.bent@ncl) that would be very helpful. For example, are the web pages helpful, have you generally had help when you needed it, have training sessions been useful, what would make it better, what don’t you like, what do you like (both about endnote itself and the service the Library provides) etc etc. Your feedback will help me make the report more realistic and also help me plan how we might change and develop our support in future.

Hi Moira,
I think the idea of developing a blog to support EndNote is an excellent idea. I have used EndNote a lot so am quite familiar with the software and its “issues”.
Your web pages look very good: lots of information and well structured.
I do have a couple of ideas:
1. It would be good if we could contribute styles and filters that we write to a respository, which could be useful to other users;
2. It might be helpful if we could have a way of sharing tips – I think I am on the mailbase, but the traffic tends to be low. Perhaps we could have a list of problems, solutions etc. that users could contribute to.
Thanks for your work on supporting EndNote.
Chris.
Hi Chris
Thanks for your comments. I like the idea of creating a repository for users to share their styles and filters, as well as tips, and I’ll investigate how we might create this – maybe I can start a wiki. In the meantime, if you send tips to me, I’ll add them to the blog and we’ll also add them to the Tips section of the web pages
