This is useful if you wish to edit how a citation appears in the text without making changes to the output style you have choosen.<br \/>\nThe most important thing this can be used for is adding pages numbers or removing a authors surname if you&#8217;ve already used it in the previous sentence.<\/p>\n<p>In Word, highlight the citation you wish to edit.<br \/>\nThen either click on the edit citation icon on the EndNote toolbar or right click using the mouse and choose Edit Citation(s)&#8230; from the list of options.<br \/>\nFrom the Edit citation window, enter page numbers by adding them in the Suffix field.<br \/>\n(NOT in the pages field). Any numbers you enter in these fields must be typed as you wish them to appear in the citation. This includes spacing and punctuation<br \/>\ne.g. ,pp.150-155. ,150 or :150.<\/p>\n<p>You may also wish to exclude the author or the year in one citation only.
