{"id":456,"date":"2016-12-07T13:14:49","date_gmt":"2016-12-07T13:14:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/erdp\/?p=456"},"modified":"2016-12-08T09:16:06","modified_gmt":"2016-12-08T09:16:06","slug":"456","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/erdp\/2016\/12\/07\/456\/","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/erdp\/files\/2015\/09\/Gwyneth-Doherty-Sneddon.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-188\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/erdp\/files\/2015\/09\/Gwyneth-Doherty-Sneddon.jpg\" alt=\"Gwyneth Doherty-Sneddon\" width=\"130\" height=\"129\" \/><\/a>In September 2015, the School of Psychology opened up a new MSc in Forensic Psychology which offers comprehensive training for Stage 1 of the British Psychological Society-recognised\u00a0qualification in forensic psychology<\/p>\n<p>The course accreditation panel met in November and thanks to the <strong>stellar performance<\/strong> of everyone involved in delivering the MSc, the feedback was excellent.<\/p>\n<p>The panel recognised and valued the following key strengths of the programme:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>extremely high quality student experience<\/li>\n<li>the practice based approach<\/li>\n<li>the reflective practice\u00a0element<\/li>\n<li>administrative diligence and support<\/li>\n<li>academic leadership.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I appreciate that accreditation is a lot of work for everyone involved but it is a vital part of what we do and ensures our programmes are fit for purpose.
