Fenham Futures
Communities reimaging social and climate futures in Fenham

Fenham Futures is a collaborative project that aspires to engage the local community in reimagining inclusive and innovative social and climate futures in Fenham. The project intends to contribute meaningfully to Newcastle City Council Climate Action Plan and strengthen the momentum gained by the Friends of Fenham Pocket Park with the Green Flag Community Award won in the autumn 2021.

Working closely with the Friends of Fenham Pocket Park, wider community groups, stakeholders and local residents, the project seeks to enlarge the reach of Fenham Pocket Park for a greener Fenham and extend the breath of activities in and around the park to make it a more visible and welcoming space for everyone.

Undergraduate students in Architecture and Urban Planning at Newcastle University explore social and climate visions through events on Fenham Hall Drive in the Spring 2022 that they will share on this blog.
