We aim to implement a new climate-conscious transport network for people and produce, in an effort to tackle urban sprawl whilst also providing training opportunities in Fenham. A network that helps build connections between businesses and enterprises, whilst also training the next generation in areas that are overlooked in standard education, including: technical skill learning workshops such as cooking, baking, growing and mechanics etc. that are provided by the local businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This network will provide logistical support for local businesses to transport their produce to other key community hubs, providing a more climate conscious way of travelling within, to, and from Fenham. The train cars would consist of two different types, a people carrier and moving market stalls\/workshops, a timetable for which we would communicate at the stops along each route, and through a community news catalogue – sharing updates to not only The Fenham Line but for local businesses and stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
