Biological and spiritual communication, memory and objects invested with sentiment are central themes in my work. Unification and an exploration of the common experience of all living things on a cellular level informs an investigation of my own personal identity. A fascination with ritual and the art object motivates my assemblages where I place material together in an intuitive way, fusing disparate elements including sculptures, wobbly ceramics, organic material and found objects, evoking a sense of haptic and spatial.
