We are the Faculty of Medical Sciences (FMS) Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Team. We believe that a welcoming and inclusive environment where diversity is celebrated brings strength to our Faculty, and allows everyone to reach their full potential. Thus, our vision is to bridge the gap between aspiration and reality for equality, diversity and inclusivity at Newcastle University, and become a place in which equality is engrained in everything we do.<\/p>\n

The purpose of our blog is to share highlights, stories and examples of our work and good practice both within the FMS and the wider university, but also to discuss areas in which more work is still needed across the sector. We will be raising awareness of our events, campaigns and work, as well as showcasing the opportunities that are available to staff and students.<\/p>\n
