It’s over. 6 years of part-time study while working full-time and it’s over. Assuming I pass (2 diplomas, a PGCE and a BA Hons) – I guess that’s worth 6 years? I have a really weird feeling that I can’t describe, it’s like the end of an era, but it’s good. I can now understand why some students suffer through the transition from 3 years at University then have to go out and get a job. Weird. I couldn’t stop smiling all last night 😀
Anyway, thanks to everyone for their good wishes and for all those who came out to meet me after the exam to help me celebrate. I’m going to spend the rest of my weekend…chilling. 😉
Woo hoo Gillian congrats!! I remember finishing my degree after 2years part time study and full time work, its hard work, I was walking on air (or maybe alcohol!) so six years is some achievement. When I got my results I couldnt sleep for the adrenalin rush for 2 days.
It is worth it, if only to prove to yourself you can do it.
