I receive a note to say that they couldn’t deliver something ‘recorded delivery’ as it needs a signature. As it happens, I know this particular item does require a signature so I’m impressed with their protocol. I wait the requisite 48 hours and go and collect it this morning…

i usually just go the following lunch time and they find it in 2seconds… i do get boring mail forwarded from home tho… hopefully yours was more interesting and the post man wanted to read it first?! exam results?? or is that early december?

Anyway, after chatting to a friend on sat night, whom I’d forgotten is high up in the post office, it’s magically appeared this morning…
My postperson is a black guy – I doubt he’d look good in the red blouse I purchased…but you never know? Exam results “by” 15th December.
