The nearest airport is Newcastle International Airport (IATA: NCL, ICAO: EGNT) and the city centre can be easily reached from there by Metro, bus or taxi.

It’s about 30 minutes by Metro, about 20 minutes by taxi (taxi travel times vary depending on traffic/time of day – it’s approximately £20).

The nearest national rail station is Newcastle Station (Neville Street, Newcastle upon Tyne). The conference location is around a twenty minute walk from the train station and can also be reached via the Metro – two stops from Newcastle Central station to Haymarket, from which it is a short walk to the conference location.

The conference will take place primarily in the Armstrong Building of Newcastle University (Google Maps pin available via hyperlinked text).
