{"id":472,"date":"2018-07-19T10:55:28","date_gmt":"2018-07-19T09:55:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/icmresearchfunding\/?p=472"},"modified":"2018-07-19T10:55:28","modified_gmt":"2018-07-19T09:55:28","slug":"starter-grants-for-clinical-lecturers-round-20-open-for-applications","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/icmresearchfunding\/2018\/07\/19\/starter-grants-for-clinical-lecturers-round-20-open-for-applications\/","title":{"rendered":"Starter Grants for Clinical Lecturers: Round 20 open for applications"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Are you a research-active Clinical Lecturer looking to develop and strengthen your research? <\/strong>Round 20 now open for applications<\/p>\n<p>We offer grants of up to \u00a330,000 to cover the cost of research consumables, enabling research-active Clinical Lecturers to gather data to strengthen their bids for longer-term fellowships and funding.<\/p>\n<p>To be eligible to apply you must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be a research-active Clinical Lecturer (or equivalent eligible post for Veterinary Clinicians)<\/li>\n<li>Have a PhD or MD<\/li>\n<li>Hold a medical, dental or veterinary undergraduate degree<\/li>\n<li>Be within higher specialty training (except from GPs who may apply post-CCT)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We welcome applications from clinicians in human, dental and veterinary medicine.
