On 22-26th<\/sup> July<\/u><\/strong>, the Alan Turing Institute, the Francis Crick Institute<\/a> and Entrepreneur First<\/a> will be coming together to host a free, 4-day Data Science x Biomedical Science Summer School<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

This is a unique opportunity for doctoral researchers and early career researchers interested in entrepreneurship or alternative routes to impact. During the 4 days they will connect with like-minded scientists to seed new ideas, identify collaboration opportunities and get lessons first-hand of what’s required to participate in or launch their own ventures.<\/p>\n

There are only 50 places and applications close on 24<\/u><\/strong>th<\/sup><\/u><\/strong> June 2019<\/u><\/strong>, with places awarded on a rolling basis, therefore it is recommended that prospective particpants apply as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

Date<\/strong>: Mon 22 July – Thurs 25 July
\nLocation<\/strong>: Francis Crick Institute, London<\/p>\n

Eligibility<\/strong>: Open to all those with expertise in data science and biomedical science, strong preference is given to researchers operating at doctoral level and above.<\/p>\n

Fees<\/strong>: Attendance is free, and bursaries are available\u00a0(a maximum of \u00a3500 per participant for travel \/ accommodation \/ care needs)<\/p>\n

Final deadline for applications<\/strong>: Mon 24th June 2019 (places are awarded on a rolling basis)<\/p>\n
