The call is now open and the deadline for applications is 17 July 2019<\/strong>. Successful awards will be announced in November 2019 and will be expected to begin in January 2020.<\/p>\n The call aims to foster collaboration between UK and Japanese<\/strong> social science, arts and humanities research around the theme of Artificial Intelligence and its impact on society<\/strong>.\u00a0 Thematic areas for the call are listed below and further details are available in the call specification<\/a>:<\/p>\n The total UK budget for this call is \u00a32 million. Applicants can be at any experience level; in any discipline; and from any organization, including colleges and universities, government laboratories, research institutions, non-profit organizations and for-profit companies.
