We will arrange for winners&#8217; schools to have a day at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.life.org.uk\/\">Life Science Centre<\/a> which will include a &#8216;DNA-masterclass&#8217; for up to 24 pupils.<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/igmengagement\/files\/2013\/04\/dna-masterclass2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright  wp-image-353\" style=\"margin: 5px;border-width: 0px\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/igmengagement\/files\/2013\/04\/dna-masterclass2-300x170.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"240\" height=\"136\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/igmengagement\/files\/2013\/04\/dna-masterclass2-300x170.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/igmengagement\/files\/2013\/04\/dna-masterclass2.jpg 440w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 240px) 100vw, 240px\" \/><\/a> Examples of the kinds of masterclasses on offer can be found <a href=\"http:\/\/www.life.org.uk\/education\/workshops\/dna-masterclasses?item=11170\">here<\/a>. Winning students will also\u00a0receive \u00a320 of lovely book tokens\u00a0to spend.<\/p>\n<p>All finalists will receive a pass to <a title=\"Centre for Life\" href=\"http:\/\/www.life.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Life<\/a> the award winning science centre full of exciting exhibitions, activities and events for all ages. This pass will admit two adults and two children, or one adult and three children for a day.<\/p>\n<p>We will print and display the winning entries at the Institute for <a title=\"Centre for Life\" href=\"http:\/\/www.life.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-282 alignright\" style=\"margin: 5px;border-width: 0px\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/igmengagement\/files\/2013\/04\/life-logo1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"272\" height=\"99\" \/><\/a>Genetic Medicine during the British Science Festival. Winners and finalists will be invited to come along to a reception with guests and receive their prizes.
