Please see the email sent out to the Institute, regarding this matter.<\/p>\n<p>(2) Your Mac password matches your ISS\/University password. If not then then please change the password on your Mac (click on System Preferences, on the Dock; Users and Groups; Change password option. You may need to click on the padlock icon first)<\/p>\n<p>As a Mac user, if you cannot remember your ISS\/University password then we &#8211; IGM IT &#8211; are not able to help with this request and you need to contact the IT Service Desk, asking that your ISS\/University password be reset. I have no other details about this procedure, it is carried out by our colleagues up at the main campus.<br \/>\n<a title=\"IT Service Desk\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ncl.ac.uk\/itservice\/support\/itservicedesk\/contactus\/\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.ncl.ac.uk\/itservice\/support\/itservicedesk\/contactus\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>* Install the photocopier software<\/p>\n<pre>You can do this by visiting the Konica Minolta web site:\r\n<a title=\"Konica Minolta printer drivers\" href=\"http:\/\/www.konicaminolta.co.uk\/business-solutions\/support\/download-center.html\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.konicaminolta.co.uk\/business-solutions\/support\/download-center.html<\/a>\r\n\r\nClick on Multifunctional Colour\r\nProduct = bizhub C364e\r\nOperating system = Macintosh OS X - and then choose your version of Mac OS X\r\nClick the download option\r\n(usually the first link in the list is the latest version of the software)\r\nAccept the license agreement\r\nClick on the .dmg link\r\n\r\nRun the software (normally saved to your Downloads folder)\r\nDouble-click the dmg file.\r\nDouble-click the drive called bizhub_\r\nDouble-click on A4 folder\r\nDouble-click on the pkg file that you see.\r\nThis installs the correct printer driver.<\/pre>\n<p>* Adding the copiers to your Mac<\/p>\n<pre>System Preferences\r\n Printers &amp; Scanners\r\n + icon\r\n IP option (top row of icons)\r\n Line Printer Daemon - LPD\r\n *Address = medson.ncl.ac.uk\r\n Queue = hidden\r\n Use: change this to select software (menu item)\r\n Select Konica Minolta 364e PS\r\n Name = IGM Copier\r\n Add\r\n\r\n*Do not worry if you see a comment that the printer name does not resolve.\r\nIgnore the message.\r\n\r\nYou will then be prompted for the following details:\r\nPaper source unit = PC-210\r\nFinisher = FS-533\r\nPunch unit = none\r\nHard disk = ticked\r\nSecure print only = not ticked\r\nAllow public user = not ticked\r\nOK<\/pre>\n<p>* Printing to the photocopier<\/p>\n<p>IGM Copier is then added to your Mac. You do not need to worry about which copier you are sending your print jobs to.<\/p>\n<p>There is, in effect, one virtual copier. You then visit any photocopier and use your smart card with it. Now that the system knows which copier you are logged into, it forwards on your print jobs to that specific copier.<\/p>\n<p>You do not need to configure anything else i.e add your group name, copier codes.
