{"id":532,"date":"2016-04-20T18:41:40","date_gmt":"2016-04-20T17:41:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/itsm\/?p=532"},"modified":"2016-11-08T08:47:11","modified_gmt":"2016-11-08T08:47:11","slug":"nu-service-release-notes-20th-april-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/itsm\/2016\/04\/20\/nu-service-release-notes-20th-april-2016\/","title":{"rendered":"NU Service Release notes &#8211; 20th April 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The purpose of this release was to fix a couple of minor issues and to make some quick improvements based on wish list items following the on-boarding of the Faculty of Medical Sciences.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ticket History<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Wish \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0We have amended\u00a0the &#8216;Add Task&#8217; action in\u00a0the\u00a0Ticket History for Incidents and Service requests to now show the correct details for task assignments.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Issue<\/strong> <strong>\u2013<\/strong> We have fixed the &#8216;With Customer&#8217; and &#8216;Reopen&#8217; Ticket History entries to display the text correctly in relation to the entry title.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Wish \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>We have added the ability for all analysts to be able to collapse dashboard queries at will. Any changes to these dashboards are personal to each analyst.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wish &#8211;<\/strong> We have altered the collection shown at the bottom of Quick Open requests (and also for standard Service Requests) to show the &#8216;By User&#8217; filter first, rather than &#8216;Request Tasks&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Issue &#8211;<\/strong> we have fixed an attribute in the &#8216;Search All Tickets&#8217; query that would show the &#8216;Raise User&#8217;\u00a0incorrectly as the &#8216;Raised By&#8217; user.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Change &#8211; <\/strong>We have made some amendments to FMS ticket dashboards to remove certain categories, for clarity. In addition, we have created a new dashboard showing tickets split by FMS school as well as tickets closed over the previous 30 days.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Change<\/strong> <strong>&#8211;<\/strong> We have amended some categories that were routing tickets to the FMS IT SUPPORT group to route correctly &#8211; for some of these we have added in additional categories that are published only to customers within FMS.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Change &#8211;<\/strong> We have made some user management updates to accommodate recent changes to some NUIT teams.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The purpose of this release was to fix a couple of minor issues and to make some quick improvements based on wish list items following the on-boarding of the Faculty of Medical Sciences.
