An Emergency Change should have a &#8216;Level Of Change&#8217; of &#8216;Significant&#8217; or &#8216;Major&#8217;. Changes logged as &#8216;Minor&#8217; will not be able to be submitted for approval, as &#8216;Minor&#8217; changes are self-approved.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/itsm\/files\/2016\/08\/Level-Of-Change.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-550\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/itsm\/files\/2016\/08\/Level-Of-Change-300x40.png\" alt=\"Level Of Change\" width=\"300\" height=\"40\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/itsm\/files\/2016\/08\/Level-Of-Change-300x40.png 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/itsm\/files\/2016\/08\/Level-Of-Change-500x67.png 500w, https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/itsm\/files\/2016\/08\/Level-Of-Change.png 622w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Changes marked as &#8216;Significant&#8217; will have to be approved by the Service Owner. Changes marked as &#8216;Major&#8217; will be presented to CAB members for approval.<\/p>\n<p>2. An Emergency change must have an entry in the Change Calendar in order for the ticket to progress. to do this, select &#8216;Add To Change Calendar&#8217; from the actions list.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/itsm\/files\/2016\/08\/Add-To-Calendar.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-553\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/itsm\/files\/2016\/08\/Add-To-Calendar-140x300.png\" alt=\"Add To Calendar\" width=\"140\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/itsm\/files\/2016\/08\/Add-To-Calendar-140x300.png 140w, https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/itsm\/files\/2016\/08\/Add-To-Calendar.png 174w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 140px) 100vw, 140px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Next, double click anywhere on the calendar to open the Appointment box, and fill in the relevant details.
