{"id":795,"date":"2023-06-23T15:30:00","date_gmt":"2023-06-23T14:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/kats\/?p=795"},"modified":"2024-05-23T12:29:12","modified_gmt":"2024-05-23T11:29:12","slug":"north-of-tyne-schools-go-to-tynemouth-aquarium","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/kats\/2023\/06\/23\/north-of-tyne-schools-go-to-tynemouth-aquarium\/","title":{"rendered":"KATS: North East Combined Authority Schools go to Tynemouth Aquarium"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p style=\"line-height:2\">Following on from our first few sessions with Benton Park Primary, St Teresa&#8217;s Primary and Gosforth East Middle&#8230;the children got the opportunity to visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tynemouthaquarium.co.uk\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.tynemouthaquarium.co.uk\/\">Tynemouth Aquarium<\/a> for a day full of exploring life below water. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"line-height:2\">The children got to spot all of the underwater biodiversity they had been learning about and also discovered brand new facts&#8230;.did you know the Stone Fish is one of the most venomous fish that live in our oceans?! They also got the chance to attend an Eco Workshop where they learnt more about how long it takes for plastics to decompose, and watched the Seal Show outside. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"line-height:2\">That&#8217;s not all! We then walked over to Crusoe&#8217;s for some well deserved chips! What a fun day, and a day that will surely not be forgotten.
