{"id":847,"date":"2024-03-01T10:59:56","date_gmt":"2024-03-01T10:59:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/kats\/?p=847"},"modified":"2024-05-23T12:30:55","modified_gmt":"2024-05-23T11:30:55","slug":"kats-north-of-tyne-competition-kicks-off","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/kats\/2024\/03\/01\/kats-north-of-tyne-competition-kicks-off\/","title":{"rendered":"KATS: North East Combined Authority Competition Kicks Off!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p style=\"line-height:2\">This week we introduced the &#8216;KATS: North East Combined Authority Competition&#8217; with the aim to find our next Climate Change Champion!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"line-height:2\">The children that have previously participated in the KATS: NoT competition across the 12 schools in 2023 were invited to create their own artistic masterpieces that spread the word about the threats of plastic pollution in our oceans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"line-height:2\">The artworks will be judged by the KATS team, climate experts at Newcastle University, and the amazing team at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northeast-ca.gov.uk\/north-of-tyne-ca\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.northeast-ca.gov.uk\/north-of-tyne-ca\">North East Combined Authority<\/a>.
