{"id":606,"date":"2019-09-16T09:50:26","date_gmt":"2019-09-16T08:50:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/kengng\/?p=606"},"modified":"2020-03-15T08:47:21","modified_gmt":"2020-03-15T08:47:21","slug":"4dlab-at-pharmsci-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/kengng\/news\/4dlab-at-pharmsci-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"4DLab at PharmSci 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>If you have been keeping up with <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ngkengwooi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">my tweets<\/a>, you may have noticed that we were at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apsgb.co.uk\/event\/pharmsci-2019\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">10th APS International PharmSci conference<\/a> last week in Greenwich, UK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We presented our <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"collaborative work (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/eprint.ncl.ac.uk\/262367\" target=\"_blank\">collaborative work<\/a> with Unversity of Surrey&#8217;s <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.surrey.ac.uk\/people\/eirini-velliou\" target=\"_blank\">BioProChem group<\/a> on our <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1016\/j.snb.2019.126652\" target=\"_blank\">recently published work<\/a> on microneedle immunodiagnostics, as well as our investigation into the effects of <a href=\"https:\/\/eprint.ncl.ac.uk\/262370\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"oxygen and pressure on wound healing (opens in a new tab)\">oxygen and pressure on wound healing<\/a> with <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncl.ac.uk\/pharmacy\/staff\/profile\/winglau.html\" target=\"_blank\">Dr Wing Man Lau<\/a>, <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reading.ac.uk\/pharmacy\/about\/staff\/a-c-williams.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">Professor Adrian Williams<\/a> and Dr Kawa Ahmad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our MPharm alumni have much to be proud of too. Joanna&#8217;s work on <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"microneedle hydrogel coating (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/eprint.ncl.ac.uk\/262365\" target=\"_blank\">microneedle hydrogel coating<\/a> was presented as a poster, while Arun&#8217;s work on a <a href=\"https:\/\/eprint.ncl.ac.uk\/262366\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"dual-analysis immunodiagnostic microneedle platform (opens in a new tab)\">dual-analysis immunodiagnostic microneedle platform<\/a> for skin cancer detection was presented as part of a podium presentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote twitter-tweet is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Finally here <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/APS_PharmSci?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@APS_PharmSci<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/PharmSci2019?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#PharmSci2019<\/a>, looking forward to sharing our research.
