13:45-14:15 Lesson Planning
14:15-15:30 Group Activity (includes refreshments)
15:30-16:15 Poster Promenade

Career Development Group North Eastern Division

Title: Fellowship Evening

Fellowship is the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP) highest award which provides recognition for the contribution you have made in library and information profession, many people have already Chartered but have always assumed that Fellowship is something you do at the end of your career.

This evening event will be run by Margaret Watson, a recent Fellow herself, and offers the opportunity for you to find out more about Fellowship and Revalidation, gives you the chance to meet other people who are interested in the process and hopefully encourage you to undertake it yourself.

Title: Certification Day

Certification is the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP) new award which provides recognition of the contribution made in library and information work by para-rofessionals, and will be recognised by the award of new postnominal letters, ACLIP.

This day offers the opportunity for you to find out more about the Certification process, support on offer, and the chance to meet other people who are interested in the process. A successful candidate will also describe her approach to competing Certification. For the CV workshop please bring a draft copy of your CV for this session.
