In today&#8217;s economic climate and changing professional scene, your service may not have sufficient money, staff time, or expertise to support new activities. This course has been developed to help you write a compelling bid to convince potential funders to support your new endeavours.<br \/>\nThe sessions will include<br \/>\n*\tDefining the &#8216;project&#8217; to be funded<br \/>\n*\tEstimating realistic budgets, resources and timetables<br \/>\n*\tWriting compelling and convincing bids<br \/>\n*\tExploring the types of funding available, with examples<\/p>\n<p>Who should attend?<br \/>\nThis workshop will be of benefit to Information Professionals working in middle and senior management positions in public and private sector organisations who want<br \/>\n*\tA better understanding of how to write successful bids<br \/>\n*\tMore knowledge of potential funding sources<br \/>\n*\tAn enthusiasm and greater confidence to bid for funding<br \/>\nCourse Presenter:<br \/>\nMary Auckland is an independent consultant and trainer following a long career as a senior manager in academic libraries.
