{"id":2667,"date":"2016-10-26T11:22:34","date_gmt":"2016-10-26T10:22:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/ltdev\/?p=2667"},"modified":"2016-10-26T11:23:05","modified_gmt":"2016-10-26T10:23:05","slug":"2667","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/ltdev\/2016\/10\/26\/2667\/","title":{"rendered":"Three Rivers Learning and Teaching Conference 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The next annual North East Regional Three Rivers Learning and Teaching Conference will be held on the 17 March 2017 at Teesside University.<strong>\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/ltdev\/files\/2016\/10\/three-Rivers.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2668\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/ltdev\/files\/2016\/10\/three-Rivers.jpg\" alt=\"three-rivers\" width=\"265\" height=\"114\" \/><\/a>Now in its 10th year, this regional conference builds upon the success of previous partnership events held by the region\u2019s Universities (Northumbria, Sunderland, Durham, Newcastle and Teesside). The conference title is <strong>&#8216;Transformations, Transitions &amp; Territories\u2019<\/strong> and further information can be found on <a href=\"https:\/\/3riversnortheast.wordpress.com\/\">our website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We would like you to participate in this year\u2019s conference by submitting an abstract for a 20 minute paper presentation by <strong>16th December 2016<\/strong> that is\u00a0 focused on one of the following areas of the student journey:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Transforming assessment<\/li>\n<li>Embedding employability<\/li>\n<li>Student access, retention, attainment and progression in higher education<\/li>\n<li>Internationalising higher education<\/li>\n<li>Flexible learning<\/li>\n<li>Student engagement through partnership<\/li>\n<li>Technology enhanced learning<\/li>\n<li>Education for Sustainable Development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Submissions are welcome from all staff at participating institutions and joint student\/staff submissions are encouraged.<\/p>\n<p>Please read the <a href=\"https:\/\/3riversnortheast.wordpress.com\/supporting-information\/\">supporting information<\/a> before writing your abstract.<\/p>\n<p>Please <a href=\"https:\/\/www.surveymonkey.co.uk\/r\/C86MCD7\">submit abstracts<\/a>\u00a0 by 16th December 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Proposers will be informed of the outcome of the selection process in January 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Conference bookings will open in the New year.
