{"id":3136,"date":"2017-07-07T15:36:53","date_gmt":"2017-07-07T14:36:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/ltdev\/?p=3136"},"modified":"2017-07-17T11:01:08","modified_gmt":"2017-07-17T10:01:08","slug":"bootlegger-eventmovement-and-open-lab","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/ltdev\/2017\/07\/07\/bootlegger-eventmovement-and-open-lab\/","title":{"rendered":"Bootlegger, EventMovement and Open Lab"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In our recent Pizza Pop and Practice event, Dr Ahmed Kharrufa and Dr Tom Bartindale from <a href=\"https:\/\/openlab.ncl.ac.uk\/\">OpenLab <\/a>let us loose on an app that Tom has been developing over the last few years called <a href=\"https:\/\/bootlegger.tv\/\">Bootlegger<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Bootlegger makes it easy to help people make videos together using mobile applications.\u00a0 One person creates a \u201cShoot\u201d and invites others \u201cthe crew\u201d to contribute.\u00a0 The Shoot contains a template with the set of shots required in the video.\u00a0 The crew sign into Bootlegger, join the shoot and then choose the shot to take from the template.<\/p>\n<p>We used a template that Ahmed had offered to his students &#8211; \u00a0one designed to help them capture feedback on Ahmed\u2019s teaching.\u00a0 (A uniquely student centred view!)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/ltdev\/files\/2017\/07\/bootlegger1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3137\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/ltdev\/files\/2017\/07\/bootlegger1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"602\" height=\"376\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/ltdev\/files\/2017\/07\/bootlegger1.jpg 602w, https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/ltdev\/files\/2017\/07\/bootlegger1-300x187.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 602px) 100vw, 602px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Our film crew of 21 experimented and happily collected over 47 clips.
