The obstetrics manikins, though older, were of good quality that mimic real examination.

There was a wide diversity of presentations and posters at the conference. Mind maps were interesting to some participants and we had discussion that enriched my thoughts at research field.

There was good communication from NUMED, Newcastle staff and myself for all registration, arrangements of visa, flights, accommodation booking, and attendance to conference (including provision of location Maps). It was clear and well timed. I learned a lot on the process of travelling to such events.

Exposure to the University faculties and staff was interesting. The city is clean, beautiful and joyful. People are polite, clean, well dressed and friendly. Historical sites are nice, riverside is breath taking with nice cafes. I will make sure to visit Newcastle again.

You can view Dr Hassan Karali’s poster here: https://sway.com/1wypx0qCYZEnYkOg

Written by Hassan Karali Senior Clinical Lecturer in NUMED, Fellow of UKHEA Consultant in Obs& Gyn, Lead of EJR Women’s Health programme Newcastle Learning and Teaching conference was a remarkable event.
