If you\u2019re just going through the process of applying for fellowship, it too is not changing and our accreditation for programmes is continuing.<\/p>\n<h4>New or innovative approaches to Learning and Teaching<\/h4>\n<p>The ULTSEC Innovation fund provides a fantastic opportunity for you to propose and develop projects with real benefit to learning.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The final deadlines for 2017\/18 are approaching quickly but there is still time to apply:<br \/>\n<strong>Strategic project proposal submission deadline: Monday 21&nbsp;May at 4pm<\/strong><strong><br \/>\nResponsive project proposal&nbsp; submission deadline: Wednesday 30&nbsp;May at 4pm<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Last year&#8217;s successful projects included :<br \/>\n<strong>Game-enhanced learning in biological sciences <\/strong>This project&nbsp;is focused on game-enhanced learning&nbsp;with biological subject content with scope to consider the teaching of more transferable skills&nbsp;(e.g. referencing format).<br \/>\n<strong>NU InterComs \u2013 Developing Intercultural Competence in the University Community: An action research project&nbsp;<\/strong>Using the latest research in intercultural communication, this project&nbsp;will create an active space to work with our home and international staff\/students that will enhance everyone\u2019s intercultural competence and deliver an inclusive learning experience.<\/p>\n<p>Please take a look at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncl.ac.uk\/ltds\/assets\/documents\/ULTSEC_IF_2016-17_Funded.pdf\">summary of funded projects<\/a>&nbsp; from 2016\/17.
