It was excellent to see so many staff from across the campus engaging with this first week of activities under the theme Technology Enhanced Learning.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the week we explored <strong>The Art of Accessible and Inclusive Digital Content<\/strong>\u00a0through interactive practical workshops, lightning talks showcasing some excellent approaches to creating accessible and flexible resources, and video case studies.\u00a0We also welcomed Alistair McNaught, Subject Specialist in\u00a0 Accessibility and Inclusion on Thursday 4 July. Alistair delivered a mixture of practical, strategic and collaborative sessions to raise awareness and confidence in digital accessibility, and the new public sector web accessibility legislation.<\/p>\n<p>Feedback from all of the events was really positive. Some of the most valuable aspects were:<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;The use of TEL in teaching and the &#8216;can do&#8217; attitude of staff presenting&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;The chance to refresh and focus anew now that teaching and assessment are finished&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<div id=\"bg\">\n<div id=\"container\">\n<div id=\"main\">\n<div id=\"content\" class=\"full\">\n<div class=\"post view_entry\">\n<div class=\"content_body\">\n<div id=\"ve_details\" data-formid=\"5216305\" data-incomplete=\"0\" data-entryid=\"10\"><em>&#8220;A range of events where different elements appeal to different people&#8221;<\/em><\/div>\n<div data-formid=\"5216305\" data-incomplete=\"0\" data-entryid=\"10\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><em>&#8220;Thanks to Alistair for the series of energising workshops. I was expecting to come away with a &#8220;when am I going to find time to do this&#8221; feeling, but actually came away feeling positive and that changes can be made in a planned\/prioritised way.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Take a look at how the week unfolded below. skills.<\/h5>\n<p>Lucy Keating, Liaison Librarian, and colleagues gave a whistle-stop tour of\u00a0 some new online resources.\u00a0 Attendees then had the opportunity to explore these with library
