{"id":6712,"date":"2021-11-02T10:50:00","date_gmt":"2021-11-02T10:50:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/ltdev\/?p=6712"},"modified":"2021-11-17T17:13:01","modified_gmt":"2021-11-17T17:13:01","slug":"learning-and-teaching-conference-2022-call-for-submissions-open","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/ltdev\/2021\/11\/02\/learning-and-teaching-conference-2022-call-for-submissions-open\/","title":{"rendered":"Learning and Teaching Conference 2022: Call for submissions open"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Education for All: Learning Together, Thursday&nbsp;31&nbsp;March&nbsp;2022&nbsp;<br><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Learning and Teaching Conference is all about learning together, sharing effective practice and exploring\u00a0an\u00a0education for all.\u00a0\u00a0The\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncl.ac.uk\/learning-and-teaching\/professional-development\/conference\/\" target=\"_blank\">call for\u00a0submissions<\/a>\u00a0is now open and we want to hear about your successes, challenges and\u00a0future plans.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;programme committee welcomes submissions&nbsp;linked to the following areas&nbsp;but&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:nultconf1@ncl.ac.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">get in touch<\/a>&nbsp;if you have other ideas you\u2019d like to share:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Student voice\u00a0<\/li><li>Co-creation of the curriculum\u00a0<\/li><li>Changing practice through the pandemic\u00a0<\/li><li>Wellbeing and mental health\u00a0<\/li><li>Novel and varied assessment methods\u00a0<\/li><li>Designing\u00a0inclusive\u00a0learning\u00a0<\/li><li>Decolonising the curriculum\u00a0<\/li><li>Impact through collaboration<\/li><li>Education for sustainable development<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The conference is open to everyone&nbsp;involved in learning and teaching \u2013 students, academic&nbsp;colleagues, professional services&nbsp;colleagues,&nbsp;technicians and external collaborators.&nbsp;All are invited to submit a proposal for the conference and to register as a delegate.<br><br>We very much hope to run our conference day this year as a present in-person event in the Frederick Douglass Centre, with online workshops taking place over the conference week.&nbsp;However, if this is not possible we will move to a fully&nbsp;online event.<br><br>We encourage submissions from&nbsp;all of&nbsp;our campuses and if you can\u2019t attend in&nbsp;person&nbsp;you can get involved virtually by delivering an online workshop&nbsp;during&nbsp;the conference week or submitting&nbsp;a&nbsp;lightning&nbsp;talk&nbsp;video.&nbsp;<br><br><strong>Deadline for submissions: 14 January 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/Pages\/ResponsePage.aspx?id=yRJQnBa2wkSpF2aBT74-h4zmOMnJMDxDh5Mi8afiP5VUQ1k4Qk0zNDlaWEhHMURKT0tSWkNKRThTSyQlQCN0PWcu\">Submit your proposal here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Registration Open<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All colleagues and students are invited to attend the learning and teaching conference and we are looking forward to seeing you all there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/elements.ncl.ac.uk\/course\/view.php?id=1777\">Colleagues can register here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/pages\/responsepage.aspx?id=yRJQnBa2wkSpF2aBT74-h4zmOMnJMDxDh5Mi8afiP5VUMTBUNkJNS0pURzY5NzYwODNGRlMxNlBSVSQlQCN0PWcu\">Students can register here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>#ltncl22<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have any questions, get in touch with the conference team <a href=\"mailto:nultconf1@ncl.ac.uk\">nultconf1@ncl.ac.uk<\/a> .<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Education for All: Learning Together, Thursday&nbsp;31&nbsp;March&nbsp;2022&nbsp;
