This year\u2019s theme was all about learning together, sharing effective practice, and exploring an education for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event was opened by Professor Tom Ward, PVC Education, and was followed by a keynote presentation from Professor Paul Ashwin, Professor of Higher Education and Head of Department for Educational Research at Lancaster University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result of the fantastic response to our call for submissions we ran several parallel sessions throughout the day, including over 40 workshops, lightning talks and presentations. Video recordings of the event presentations are now&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/campus.recap.ncl.ac.uk\/Panopto\/Pages\/Sessions\/List.aspx?folderID=6e3b00d5-58ad-49cf-aa2f-ae660082e8c9\">available to view via ReCap<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Conference poster and video winners<\/strong><br>A massive congratulations to Ashley Reynolds and Eleanor Gordon who won our video competition with their&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/fmstel\/2022\/03\/31\/creating-and-using-animations-to-explain-concepts\/\">demonstration of how animations can be used to enhance teaching and learning<\/a>, and to Anna Reid and Vicky Gilbert who won our poster competition with <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/newcastle.sharepoint.com\/:b:\/r\/sites\/LTDS\/Internal%20Only%20Webdocs\/Everyone\/Conference%202022\/Posters%20-%20Learning%20%26%20Teaching%20Conference\/%5BI%5D%20Learning%20dogs;%20a%20winning%20%27pawtnership%27.pdf?csf=1&amp;web=1&amp;e=odlFOb\" target=\"_blank\">Learning dogs; a winning &#8216;pawtnership&#8217;<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks also to everyone who entered and voted for our winners.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/newcastle.sharepoint.com\/:f:\/s\/LTDS\/EhWBnP8FwB1BtPnpwmFcNx4Bn3UCxBo0chHVS542VoDtmA\">All posters are still available to view<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/campus.recap.ncl.ac.uk\/Panopto\/Pages\/Viewer.aspx?pid=05713add-5e15-4b5f-a9f3-ae6200e21b80\">video submissions&nbsp;are available in a ReCap playlist<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Conference feedback needed<\/strong><br>If you attended the conference, or if you registered but were unable to attend,&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/forms.ncl.ac.uk\/view.php?id=14182933\" target=\"_blank\">we would greatly appreciate your thoughts and feedback<\/a>.
