Following the launch of Inspera, the Learning and Teaching Development Service (LTDS) have asked for student feedback annually. Such feedback aids LTDS to ensure we are continually developing the service to improve student experience\u202fwhen taking an Inspera Digital Exam.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>142<\/strong>\u202fstudents submitted their feedback in academic year 21-22\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>104<\/strong> students submitted their feedback in academic year 22-23\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Our comparison findings:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students are reporting that they are more satisfied with Inspera Digital Exams in academic year 22-23 compared with 21-22.&nbsp; An increase is also seen in its ease of use:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>Evaluation statements from Student Users<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/td><td><strong>21-22<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/td><td><strong>22-23<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/td><td><strong>% increase (21-22 to 22-23)<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>I found <strong>starting<\/strong> my Inspera exam somewhat or very easy&nbsp;<\/td><td>81%&nbsp;<\/td><td>89%&nbsp;<\/td><td><strong>+8%<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>I found <strong>submitting<\/strong> my Inspera exam somewhat or very easy&nbsp;<\/td><td>80%&nbsp;<\/td><td>93%&nbsp;<\/td><td><strong>+13%<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>I am satisfied or very satisfied with my <strong>experience<\/strong> of taking an exam(s) using Inspera within a PC Cluster venue&nbsp;<\/td><td>73%&nbsp;<\/td><td>79%&nbsp;<\/td><td><strong>+6%<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>I have tried at least one Inspera <strong>demo exam<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/td><td>60%&nbsp;<\/td><td>73%&nbsp;<\/td><td><strong>+13%<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The use of demo or practice Inspera exams is also on the up. Students reporting using demos more so in 22-23 compared with 21-22; this is reflected in the increased figures on the self-enrol Student Inspera Demo Canvas course. Enrolment figures across the demo exams showed an 87% increase in usage for 22-23.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Student engagement with Inspera demos is encouraging and LTDS would like to thank all colleagues who are promoting the use of demo exams to aid students\u2019 familiarity with the Inspera platform. <strong>Try it out or share with your students<\/strong>: <a href=\"https:\/\/ncl.instructure.com\/enroll\/3PDGCJ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Student Inspera Demo Course<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Next Steps\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LTDS will be requesting feedback from students for our current academic year after Semester 2\u2019s assessment period.
