Check out some of our hints and tips listed below.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hints and Tips<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"1\">\n<li>To attach yourself to an exam as a grader, make sure you click the link from the Inspera assignment point in Canvas. This takes you into the \u2018Deliver\u2019 area of the exam and you can click the \u2018Open in Grade\u2019 button to enter the \u2018Grade area\u2019.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"2\">\n<li>If you need to search for a specific student, within the \u2018Overview\u2019 section of the Grader area, you can search for a student number to locate their submission. In the screenshot below, \u2018stutestX\u2019 is a placeholder for a student ID. In your exams you will see student numbers listed instead.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/ltdev\/files\/2024\/05\/image-2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"357\" height=\"279\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/ltdev\/files\/2024\/05\/image-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7635\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/ltdev\/files\/2024\/05\/image-2.png 357w, https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/ltdev\/files\/2024\/05\/image-2-300x234.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 357px) 100vw, 357px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"3\">\n<li>If you are in the Grade area and need to go back to the Deliver area (for example, to set the feedback settings), there is a shortcut available. Click the \u2018Options\u2019 button at the top of the screen and navigate to \u2018Shortcuts\u2019. Select \u2018Deliver\u2019 and click \u2018Open test in Deliver\u2019,\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"4\">\n<li>It is possible to download raw marks from Inspera as an Excel file. Click the \u2018Options\u2019 button at the top of the screen and navigate to \u2018Downloads\u2019. Select \u2018Marks as Excel file\u2019,\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"5\">\n<li>As standard the Digital Exams team will set up the Canvas assignment associated with your Inspera exam as 100 points. This means (once released) students will view their Canvas Gradebook mark as a proportion. If you\u2019d like students to see raw marks, please edit the Canvas assignment points area to match that of your total Inspera marks.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"6\">\n<li>For manually marked questions, Graders can add Annotations to student submissions. Within student submitted text, click the left mouse button and move the mouse across the text you want to annotate. Click Annotate: <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"blob:https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/14e2ded2-add7-41db-b589-df92ae864331\">\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"7\">\n<li>Within the Grade \u2018marking\u2019 area there is a search icon for students now for all graders. When marking, use the bottom panel to navigate to specific students using their ID.
