The metric previously labelled <strong>\u2018Attendance\u2019<\/strong> has now been renamed to <strong>\u2018On campus engagement\u2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This change is now live in the system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why we\u2019ve made this change<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u2018Attendance\u2019 metric in NULA shows a student\u2019s engagement across all in-person, timetabled sessions available to them in their active modules \u2014 including both monitored and non-monitored activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because this metric reflects more than just formal attendance, we felt that \u2018On campus engagement\u2019 better captures the full picture of a student\u2019s participation in scheduled learning opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What this means for staff and students<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Students will notice only a label change \u2014 from \u2018Attendance\u2019 to \u2018On campus engagement\u2019. This gives you a clearer picture of your overall engagement and can help you notice any gaps so you can make informed choices about how you learn.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Please note that \u2018on campus engagement\u2019 data in NULA is not your formal attendance record and will not impact your academic record.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The system is designed to give you real-time insights that support your learning and any conversations with your personal tutor or support teams.
