For anyone marking using Inspera we\u2019ve collated some handy tips which you may find helpful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hints and Tips&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To&nbsp;access your exam(s) to mark,&nbsp;click the link&nbsp;within the&nbsp;assignment point in Canvas.&nbsp;You must be a teacher or teaching assistant on the Canvas&nbsp;module.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you need to search for a specific student, within the&nbsp;Inspera&nbsp;\u2018Grading&nbsp;Overview\u2019 section, use the search bar&nbsp;&#8211; you can&nbsp;search for a student&nbsp;ID.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To&nbsp;download&nbsp;raw marks from Inspera,&nbsp;as an Excel file. Click the \u2018Options\u2019 button at the top&nbsp;right&nbsp;of the&nbsp;Grade&nbsp;screen and navigate to \u2018Downloads\u2019.&nbsp;Select \u2018<strong>Marks and Explanations as&nbsp;Excel file\u2019.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Inspera Exams&nbsp;are&nbsp;always&nbsp;set up&nbsp;initially within&nbsp;the Canvas assignment&nbsp;as out of&nbsp;100 points.&nbsp;You can edit the points on the Canvas assignment after the exam if needing to display raw marks (<a href=\"https:\/\/community.canvaslms.com\/t5\/Instructor-Guide\/How-do-I-add-or-edit-details-in-an-assignment\/ta-p\/971\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">edit the Canvas assignment<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For manually marked questions,&nbsp;Markers&nbsp;can add&nbsp;<strong>Annotations<\/strong>&nbsp;to student submissions.&nbsp;\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Within the student&#8217;s&nbsp;submitted&nbsp;text, click&nbsp;the left mouse button&nbsp;to&nbsp;select&nbsp;the text you want to annotate. Click Annotate.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once marking is complete within Inspera,&nbsp;don&#8217;t&nbsp;forget to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/support.inspera.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/360033628491-Test-settings-Grading-workflow#h_01G4Z2TVYD1804BR0RQDDXHRQH\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Confirm Marks<\/a>,&nbsp;this will complete the grading step and push the completed marks from inspera to Canvas Gradebook.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It is now possible to port Inspera digital exam grades from Canvas Gradebook into NESS.
