This morning I cycled on an urban road, between houses in Jesmond, passing builders perched like chameleons\u00a0on a scaffold two floors up.\u00a0 One\u00a0threw a brick into a metal skip parked in the road near us.\u00a0 BANG GONG.\u00a0 I was shocked and startled.\u00a0 My son looked back to where a cloud of dust had been raised and was drifting up from the skip and said \u201cthere is smoke\u201d.\u00a0 I corrected him, I said that it is dust but then my head compared the properties of smoke \u201csuspended particulate matter\u201d and this fine dust which is… suspended particulate matter.\u00a0 Very very fine grit.\u00a0 One comes from heat, calming down from a more excited state and the other is roused from sleep in the bottom of a metal skip and flies up, excited.<\/p>\n

What he would really like, in addition to the workshop, is a module that teaches how to deal with finance on a day to day basis.\u00a0 What the terms mean and how it all ties together.\u00a0 So that when he meets accountants and they try and out-mystique him he can see through their flummery and get better results.<\/p>\n
