Newcastle University’s new Marketing Web Support<\/strong> service launched at the end of January. We’ve been hard at work, meeting stakeholders, developing and maintaining websites, and offering training.<\/p>\n

Here’s what we’ve been up to in February.<\/p>\n

Developments<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Adam is currently working on research group pages for Animal Sciences and Agricultural Production Systems<\/strong> for the School of Natural and Environmental Sciences.<\/p>\n

He and I are working with the School to deliver a redevelopment of the NU Farms website<\/strong> to showcase smart farming projects<\/strong> ahead of a conference at the end of March.<\/p>\n

The School is competing with Leeds in delivering messaging about smart farming research and for student recruitment.<\/p>\n

Catherine has built a new Go Mobile website for Sustainable Campus<\/strong>, which previously was in an old Contribute template that didn’t work well on mobile devices. Liz is working on delivering the content into that website for a March relaunch<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Sustainable Campus website is close to receiving a new look, having been redeveloped in our responsive Go Mobile template, which will make it easier to use on mobile devices.<\/p><\/div>\n

Catherine has also built sites for Partners Academic Summer School and Student Health and Wellbeing<\/strong> in the Go Mobile template. It\u2019s our aim to populate these templates and dispense with the old Contribute websites in April and June respectively.<\/p>\n

Many of the stakeholders in these smaller Contribute websites have been in contact to request moving into Go Mobile templates. We\u2019re trying to incorporate sites we feel we can redevelop quickly and efficiently within our workflow<\/strong>. The one exception is the University\u2019s Sports Centre, which needs to be looked at more strategically.<\/p>\n

I have met to discuss new developments or redevelopments<\/strong>, with:<\/p>\n
