I’m an interdisciplinary scientist based in the Modelling Ecology and Policy Research Group. I work with graphical Bayesian decision models to contextualise scientific evidence for the benefit of policy makers in the realm of biodiversity conservation and sustainability. I am an expert in combining quantitative and qualitative data and dealing with high levels of uncertainty.

I also have a sideline in the conservation of pheasants, predominately in Southeast Asia. I am the editor of G@llinformed the newsletter of the IUCN/SSC Galliformes Specialist Group.
