We are looking to relaunch the North East Law Review (NELR) in 2020\nand have exciting plans including Sponsored Essay Competitions. The NELR is\ncurrently recruiting a committee of Editors to ensure its continued operation and\nis an excellent opportunity for students to get involved in the production of legal\nresearch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>North East Law Review Blog<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Web: <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/nelrn\/\">https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/nelrn\/<\/a>             Twitter: <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/nelr_ncl\">https:\/\/twitter.com\/nelr_ncl<\/a>  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Associated with the North East Law Review is the NELR Blog which is\ndesigned to be a space for the exchange of ideas between independent thinkers\nin law. The NELR Blog is currently recruiting a committee to ensure its continued\noperation, production of content and smooth running and is an excellent\nopportunity for students to get involved in shaping and furthering the debates\nthat exist in law currently. In addition to this, the Blog is also currently\nwelcoming contributions and submissions from staff and students across\nNewcastle on any topics of interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The type of content NELR will be producing content includes, but is not\nlimited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Blog posts on areas of law (1,000 \u2013 2,000 words)<\/li><li>\u2018Debates in Law\u2019 <\/li><li>Case Summaries of latest cases<\/li><li>Panel Discussions<\/li><li>Seminar Recordings<\/li><li>Podcasts<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are interested in running for the Committee to help produce these\nor similar sorts of ideas, if you are interested in writing or just want to\nimmerse yourself more in your studies, then please e-mail a 250 word\napplication and a full CV to James Merryweather and Colette Monahan (<a href=\"mailto:j.merryweather@newcastle.ac.uk\">j.merryweather@newcastle.ac.uk<\/a> and <a href=\"mailto:c.monahan@newcastle.ac.uk\">c.monahan@newcastle.ac.uk<\/a>). The\ndeadline for applications is the <strong>18<sup>th<\/sup> September <\/strong>after which\nwe will be looking to start driving the NELR forward.
