{"id":46,"date":"2015-11-27T10:38:26","date_gmt":"2015-11-27T10:38:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/nualadavis\/?p=46"},"modified":"2015-11-27T10:42:55","modified_gmt":"2015-11-27T10:42:55","slug":"nutela-sound","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/nualadavis\/2015\/11\/27\/nutela-sound\/","title":{"rendered":"NUTELA3P Sound"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Here are a few resources we&#8217;ve pulled together for this part of the session:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/3Pzip\">zip of the printed instructions <\/a>that I&#8217;ve handed out (this includes some\u00a0sample files)<\/li>\n<li>Some <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/nualadavis\/2015\/11\/20\/audacity-basics\/\">Audacity links, a quick screencast <\/a>and a couple of examples where I&#8217;ve put it to use.<\/li>\n<li>A &#8220;How to&#8221; on <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/nualadavis\/2015\/11\/25\/add-audio-to-blackboard\/\">add audio to Blackboard<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Experience tells me that if you are doing anything with sound the <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/nualadavis\/2015\/09\/25\/sound-foundations\/\">quality of the recording<\/a>\u00a0is important.\u00a0 It&#8217;s good to think about the microphone quality and background noise before you start recording.<\/li>\n<li>If you&#8217;re sad there&#8217;s no Photostory you can see how to do something similar\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/nualadavis\/2015\/11\/20\/powerpoint-as-photostory\/\">in Powerpoint<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ncl.ac.uk\/nualadavis\/2015\/11\/20\/photostory-part-1\/\">with Movie Maker<\/a>\u00a0 (but look at these after trying out Animoto in the other parallel session).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here are a few resources we&#8217;ve pulled together for this part of the session: A zip of the printed instructions that I&#8217;ve handed out (this includes some\u00a0sample files) Some Audacity links, a quick screencast and a couple of examples where I&#8217;ve put it to use.
